GRSEC
The Genealogical Research Society of Eau Claire (GRSEC) is a non-profit, education society dedicated to the preservation of genealogy and genealogical sources in the Eau Claire area.  Meetings are held on the second Saturday of every month from September through May at the Chippewa Valley Museum in Carson Park.

Chippewa Valley Railroad
The Chippewa Valley Railroad (CVRR) offers rides in/on wooden 1880 passenger style coaches pulled by 1/4 scale steam and diesel locomotives. Chippewa Valley Railroad Association offers train rides on their mini train replica during the summer months through a scenic woods by half-moon lake.

Historic Preservation Foundation
The purpose of this group is to engage in activities that educate and encourage people to enjoy the cultural heritage contained represented in Eau Claire's buildings.  This is accomplished through the preservation, restoration and revitalization of historic properties located in the Eau Claire area.

Chippewa Valley Learning In Retirement
Offers educational classes, trips, and tours to retired members of the Chippewa Valley.

LE Phillips Memorial Public Library
The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library is the largest library in west central Wisconsin. The mission of the library is to be a source of ideas and information provided in a wide variety of formats in order to meet the personal and occupational needs of all its customers, enriching individual lives and contributing to the development and cultural life of the community.
