Chief Engineer

Do you like to work with your hands and solve problems? Chippewa Valley Museum is seeking a Chief Engineer to manage the facilities on the museum’s campus in beautiful Carson Park. The Chief Engineer is responsible for routine maintenance of museum buildings and historic houses, coordinating care of grounds, set-up/breakdown for events, and general custodial work. The museum is considering both full‑time and part‑time candidates, and strong applicants interested in a scaled‑back schedule are encouraged to apply. Application review begins May 4. Internships

Interns seeking experience in Library and Archives, Programs, Museum Education, Historical Research, Curatorial and Collections Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, and Fundraising are welcome to contact departments directly. We typically offer 2-3 internships per semester, depending on the availability of supervisors. Contact us to explore customized internship possibilities.
