Now Hiring: Archivist

Chippewa Valley Museum, located in Eau Claire’s beautiful Carson Park, is seeking a resourceful and articulate part-time Archivist to manage its Glen Curtis Smoot Library and Archive. This half-time position works closely with the public as well as with collections, programs, and exhibit staff, both paid and unpaid. This position occasionally works weekends and evenings. The Archivist reports directly to the Executive Director. Application review begins January 2, 2020 with an anticipated start date of February 15. We are interested in interns seeking experience in Library and Archives, Programs, Museum Education, Historical Research, Curatorial and Collections Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, and Fundraising. We typically hire 2-3 unpaid interns per semester, depending on the availability of the department supervisor.
