History Foodies: Afternoon Session
August 12th, 2020 | 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm | Chippewa Valley Museum | Location: Eau Claire, Wisconsin
Kids 6-12 years old will research vintage recipes to figure out what your ancestors ate, and design a menu for 19th, 20th, and 21st century tastes. You’ll learn about food preservation, the art of canning, and take home a mason jar full of refrigerator pickles.
Workshop activity materials will be available for pick-up at the museum the Monday & Tuesday before the workshop date.
Pick-up times are as follows:
Monday 3 pm - 5pm
Tuesday 3 pm - 6 pm
