Be a part of history

244 years ago, the Continental Congress declared the 13 colonies would be united, free, and independent states, and people have been celebrating the Fourth of July ever since.

Museum Closed on 4th, But Celebration Goes Online

Chippewa Valley Museum has hosted a 4th of July Fun Fair since 1992. This year its going to be virtual to help protect public health during this pandemic. We'll share historic speeches, a do-it-yourself face painting demo, a virtual Cake Walk, and some music and history.
