*** This event will be rescheduled - Stay tuned for more info ***

Join us for the Making Meaning exhibit opening. Student-curators, and their professional collaborators will be on hand to discuss the exhibits and answer questions about the process.

Created by students, the Making Meaning exhibit focuses on artifacts they personally selected from the Museum's collections, and which they organized into three interpretive sections. Working in collaboration with museum staff and UWEC Public History faculty, students curated exhibits from start to finish including researching artifacts, developing creative exhibit ideas, writing exhibit scripts, and installing the finished product on the museum floor. The project was the center-piece of UWEC Lecturer Dan Ott's "Museums in America" history course during the Fall 2018 semester.
