Offered especially for area mentors and mentees, these classes invite area youth and their adult helpers to enjoy a make-n-take experience together while learning new skills. Participants will visit four different stations (supply, cutting, hooking, and finishing) to explore the process of rug making while personalizing a placemat-sized wall hanging to take home. Guest instructor Dorothy Huse leads each session, along with members of the Tree City Guild of Rug Hooking Crafters. Suggested donation of $5/person to cover the costs of supplies and materials.
