BUS AND GROUP TOURS
The museum is a popular stop for group tours from across the region, and has made it into the itineraries of Group Tour Magazine, Leisure Group Travel, Midwest Tour Itineraries, Itineraries Midwest, Tours Etc., and Circle Wisconsin.
The main museum building is open year-round and handicap accessible. The grounds also offer two historic buildings, the Lars and Grethe Anderson House, and Sunnyview School, both of which are open from May until October, weather permitting.
Museum Amenities for Group Tours
Coach parking is ample near the museum.
We offer complimentary admission for driver and group leaders.
Our on-site ice cream parlor seats about 25. However, we can serve ice cream for up to 60 in our L.E. Phillips Memorial Auditorium.
Meals can be catered in our L.E. Phillips Memorial Auditorium for groups up to 60. We can suggest local catering options. Carson Park also offers several covered pavillions for picnics.
Guided tours and/or special programs can be arranged in advance for an additional fee (although we believe the museum is best seen self-guided).
Two wheelchairs are available for visitor use.
The small (200 s.f.) Museum Store offers a range of books, cards, and other items of regional interest.
