Holiday Harp Concert

Posted: November 16, 2015

The Chippewa Valley Museum will hold a Holiday Harp Concert and Open House at the Schlegelmilch House on Sunday, December 6th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The Schlegelmilch House, located in downtown Eau Claire, was home to three generations before becoming a house museum and event rental space.

Get into the holiday spirit by enjoying music played by Serena O'Meara's Harp Ensemble from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the front parlors. Following the concert there will be hot cider and cookies provided to guests in the dining room. Guests may also take part in self-guided tours of the upstairs and main floor of the house from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., as well as an ongoing artifact scavenger hunt for all ages.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids, and museum members are free.

The Schlegelmilch House is located at the corner of Lake and Farwell Streets in downtown Eau Claire. Proceeds from the harp concert support fun learning experiences for kids and families at the Chippewa Valley Museum in Eau Claire's Carson Park.
