One-room, rural Sunnyview School served children in grades one through eight from 1882-1961. The one-room school, which was originally located south of Eau Claire in the Town of Washington, is now on the grounds of the Chippewa Valley Museum. Today it serves as the site of a hands-on learning experience for many area students and is open to the public from mid-April through mid-October. Admission is included with admission to the Chippewa Valley Museum. |
