The Wisconsin Humanities Council supports public programs that engage the people of Wisconsin in the exploration of human cultures, ideas and values. Additional program support was provided by Super Target.

She is director of the Ruth Ketterer Harris Collection (textiles and design library) and also holds appointments in the Folklore and Women’s Studies programs.
