Sponsorship Opportunities
There are a number of opportunities for sponsors to participate in the Chippewa Valley Museums new Farm Life exhibit.
For example, in the "walk through time" barn, several life-size cow sculptures will be interactive: that is, visitors will be able get under the cow and "milk" either by hand or machine. Sponsors will be able to choose a name for their cow within a few guidelines appropriate to the purposes of the exhibit. The museum is also offering sponsorship of a calf pen (the calf itself will be named by local children), among several other opportunities detailed below.
- $10,000 level: Sponsor a life-size interactive cow (3 available).
- $7,500 level: Sponsor a life-size cow (2 available).
- $5,000 level: Sponsor an exhibit environment (4 available), such as the machine shed, kitchen, dance hall, or the calf pen.
- $2,500 level: Sponsor an element such as an information station or case exhibit.
- $1,000 level: Sponsor special features such as the treehouse.
- $500 level: Adopt a Class. Provide admission and a personal copy of the FarmLife young readers book for each child in one grade level at a school designated by the sponsor. CVM will also help contributors find a school to sponsor.
