25th Anniversary Capital Campaign

In 1998, the Chippewa Valley Museum launched its first major capital campaign in 20 years. Major goals of the 25th Anniversary Capital Campaign are to

  • improve galleries and workshops in the Rural Heritage wing, the first major renovation since the early 1980s.
  • improve environmental conditions for collections.
  • increase facilities for our growing educational program.
  • increase endowment funds to support exhibits and programs that are at the heart of the museum’s service to the community.

Projected costs are $2.13 million. The campaign has commitments for $2.047 million. See Donor list. Additions to endowment (from gifts received to date) now total $130,036.

Funds are still needed to equip the new spaces, construct exhibits and learning stations, and complete the endowment goal.
